This larger than life 48 x 30 collage on canvas exudes personality. He has garnered three awards: Merit award in Art Center Sarasota National Show, 3rd place in Art Center Manatee’s “Create” exhibit and People's Choice at Venice Art Center. When he is hanging on your wall, his presence is felt, and it’s a really good feeling. This is the first painting I did when our world turned upside down in March 2020. My friend Karelle cares often for this amazing dog Fritz. On one of our get together’s last year I captured this picture of him and had been wanting to paint him ever since. He makes me happy. The original was 24 x 18.

This amazing zebra, titled "Inspired" was created for the Visual Art Center’s “Color” show - just being a little cheeky - he won a merit award in the show.
Oh, this sweet bunny, named "I Hop." There’s one square that says “If we could hop… what a totally different world.” Yes, it would be different, but it’s hard to imagine not joyfully hopping around the world when you see his sweet face.

This 48 x 36” beauty, titled "It's a Heady Feeling, was created from a photograph taken by the incredible Susan Jackson (my husband’s cousin) who lives in Costa Rica. I fell madly in love with this photograph and captured this spectacular cattle egret using my square technique. It’s larger than life and rightly so!

This sweet painting titled "Believe" was done for my girl Stella, who would run into the closet whenever there’s thunder in the sky. It was also the 2nd painting I did during the quarantine and I couldn’t help but think of all those nurses out there in the world. We have been having quite the storm and sometimes the only thing to do is pray and believe it will get better!

This sweet old pelican titled "Popeye" is a resident at the Peace River Wildlife Center in Punta Gorda, FL. I caught his great gaze with my camera, looking right at me. I just loved the look and wanted to create it with my squares. He won a merit award at the Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda.

This amazing great horned owl, "Bella," is a resident of the Peace River Wildlife Center. These owls are so regal with a stare that just won’t quick. She is a real beauty and would be thrilled to don your walls.

This larger than life 48 x 30" collage on canvas was one of a series of owls created from the beautiful creatures at the Peace River Wildlife Center in Punta Gorda, Florida. She is a barn owl that was rescued from "up North." Apparently she was cared for by people at the start of her life, and once that happens the owl is "imprinted" and unable to care for itself in the wild. She is a stunning owl and was a delight to bring to life on the canvas. She won an Honorable Mention at the Art Center Manatee's "Create" show in September 2024.

This adaptation to Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring with my dear angel Stella. I had such a strong desire to paint this with her face, which almost looked made for that scarf. She is currently on the walls of the Englewood Art Center in their Menagerie exhibit and has garnered the first place ribbon.
